We hope you had a blessed Summer. We’re excited to start back with our Fall session in a week from tomorrow, as follows:
1) “The Gathering” Breakfast Burritos: In-person classes relaunch next Tuesday, September 15th at 7 AM, as we start a new series with Lamont (AKA Major B) launching the first session with HIS LIVE IN-PERSON TRAINING. You won’t wan to miss his teaching. Then, we will start a new book and video series called “Stepping Up: A Call to Courageous Manhood”, where author Dennis Rainey will be teaching on: Courage, Boyhood and Adolescence, Manhood, Mentor, Patriarch, The Power to Step Up, Standing Firm, Taking Initiative, Engaging with Wisdom and Grace, Planning and Providing, Vision for your Marriage and Family, and Vision for your World! This class block will run from Tuesday September 15th through Spring Break, which will include various small and large group processing sessions, fellowship, food, worship and more.
2) Wednesday Morning Zoom classes will kick back into gear next Wednesday September 16th at 7 AM, with a new book study: The Ruthless Elimination of Hurry book by John Mark Comer at zoom.us/j/6700065485 This class is a great option for those of you who live far away or who are in Central Oregon when it is more convenient to join us remotely. We have a great flow with our Zoom class, including amazing times of fellowship, prayer, encouragement and camaraderie to say the least.
3) Satellite Groups Continues:
A. Zoom group with Pastor James Beckley: will start back soon, where we will be hosting and facilitating discussion for this group from Temecula, CA and we’re so excited about it. Thanks to technology, your location is not a barrier to joining our Zoom calls, so if you are looking for an alternative time to meet and connect with fellow brothers, please consider joining this group. Pastor Jay’s 7 PM Zoom is currently picking out their new curriculum and we will let you know as soon as we are ready to restart.
B. Estacada Men’s group with Pastor Jason Roeder: Join Pastor Jason as the group studies “Stand Firm & Act Like Men”, where author Joby Martin will be teaching on Vigilance, Steadfastness, Courage, Responsibility, Spiritual Power and Sacrificial Love. This class will run every other Wednesday from 6-7:30 PM, specifically September 9, 23, Oct 7, 21, Nov 4, 18, and Dec 2. Location is Estacada Community Fellowship 595 NW Industrial Way Estacada, OR 97023. Please RSVP in the contact form at www.gentlelion.org/events or email us back.
